The two newly appointed managing directors of the workstation and test system specialist ELABO GmbH in Crailsheim, Dr. Mark Dolezal and Timo Henkelmann, have taken up this high standard and are following in the footsteps of Thomas Hösle, the previous sole managing director, who is retiring on 30.06.2020 due to age.
Under his aegis, the former "hidden champion" ELABO has developed in an exemplary manner, both in terms of sales and earnings and in terms of brand awareness. Today, ELABO is a well-known name as a respected protagonist of industry 4.0 and digitization solutions suitable for medium-sized businesses, especially for the smart factory of the future.
ELABO has made itself fit for the future with its traditional product range, but also by expanding its digital business model.
Of course, the COVID-19 crisis has also affected the market leader for intelligent workstation and test systems. Thanks to a well thought-out corona policy the management is still in control and the company is on the best possible course, which continues to benefit from the creative and innovative ideas of its employees.
A new ELABO hygiene product range was created within a very short time. The ELABO hygienic column in particular is very popular. A further milestone was the launch of an online shop at the beginning of May. In future, the new sales channel will enable customers to purchase accessories, measuring and testing instruments and ELABO hygienic solutions conveniently online.
Workload is still good, especially in the production areas. There, as well as in the administrative departments, all employees adhere to the Corona guidelines: Keep your distance, disinfect, everyone cooperate, wear masks.
So ELABO also remains the leader – even in this crisis.
