Initial situation
The training laboratory of the vocational school in Cochem for the electrical department was getting on in years and no longer met the requirements of modern and future-oriented training. The premises were not designed for contemporary forms of teaching, such as group or project work, because, among other things, they were not multifunctional enough. The aim was also to strengthen the training of skilled workers in crafts with a new electrical laboratory and thus to be able to counter the shortage of skilled workers.
The solution
As part of the redesign, ELABO implemented a multifunctional and modern electrical laboratory with the approved Primus One® system. The flexible room equipment now makes it possible to implement a wide variety of room layouts using mobile laboratory tables. Thus, it is possible to switch between frontal teaching, project work or group work in a very short time and without any effort.
The permanently installed base modules are equipped with innovative LED lighting, ensuring optimum illumination of the workstation. The ergonomic system columns, aligned vertically at a 45° angle to the student, are equipped with modern electronic modules. The cables are fed via the system columns into the ceiling. Horizontal cable routing is invisible thanks to the approved integrated cable management system. The lockable table superstructures with transverse roller shutters provide sufficient space for storing measuring devices and accessories directly at the workstation.
The workstations are designed for easy performance of wooden board assemblies. The wooden boards can be dismantled if necessary and can be attached to the back of the workstation for storage.
The ELABO solutions in the new electrical laboratory of the vocational school in Cochem convince not only with their high flexibility but also with the proven modular system. Individual solutions are possible, whereby modern electronics can be easily and intelligently integrated into the Primus One® system even at a later date. The highest safety standards are always maintained, ensuring reliable personal protection at all times.
