Experience the connected factory of the future

Cooperation event of ELABO, Würth Industrie Service and Fraunhofer IAO

A strong network and valuable partners are very important for the success of a company. They are decisive in successfully dealing with increasing complexity and shorter innovation cycles. With Fraunhofer IAO and Würth Industrie Service, ELABO can look back on two long-standing and very valuable partners. Numerous invited guests were able to get an impression of the results of this alliance on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. At the joint cooperation event "Experience the connected factory of the future" at the Fraunhofer IAO, it was made clear which advantages arise for one's own production when key value-added partners communicate in real time via digital systems – without media breaks, without loss of time and quality. They were able to see for themselves the optimization potential and synergies of networked intelligent production.

A world premiere was also on the agenda:

A joint film production about the factory of the future.hier

Keynote speaker Dr.-Ing. Philipp Michaeli, Managing Director of ifp consulting, reported on "Innovative technologies in factory planning" and presented cardboard engineering using virtual reality in a live demonstration.

During the following tour through the Future Work Lab of the Fraunhofer IAO the "the future workplace" was presented – developed in cooperation between Fraunhofer IAO and ELABO. Practical examples also showed how companies can make their production fit for digitization today.

Together we look back on a successful event with very precious exchange as well as new inspiration and would like to thank all participants.
