An eventful year lies behind ELABO. Despite the pandemic, there were several highlights – a review of the year:
The year 2022 began with great news. The takeover by the bott Group was the beginning of a future-oriented partnership. Joint customer orders and successful trade fair appearances at Motek and productronica followed. With the avero production line including Elution® software, as presented for the first time in Stuttgart and Munich, a solution was created that illustrates how well the two companies complement each other – a foretaste of the future.
Another success of the still young cooperation: a major order in the field of electromobility at the end of October. Together, bott and ELABO were able to convince the customer with innovative solutions and the group's performance. The solution sold combines the core competences of ELABO and bott in an optimal way. The result will be a system on which large parts will be assembled automatically, tested for function and safety, and then packaged. The order underlines the growth strategy of both companies. The Crailsheim site is supposed to grow further in the next few years.
In 2021, ELABO was already able to recruit numerous qualified employees for this growth. New colleagues started their careers in the company in a wide variety of areas. In addition, three industrial and one commercial trainee started their careers at ELABO in September. All trainees who completed their apprenticeship this year were also offered long-term employment.
Some of the employees who have been with the company for a very long time have celebrated their long-standing employment with the company this year. Timo Henkelmann congratulated the colleagues on 10, 20, 30 and even 40 years with ELABO and thanked them for their loyalty to the company.
Together with all employees, the "Day of the Future" took place for the first time this year. At this internal event, they worked together on ideas and solutions for the future of ELABO. How should things continue from the staff's point of view, what needs to change, what needs to be maintained - questions for which all employees of the company were asked. The event will take place again next year.
So much for the biggest highlights of 2021. Next year, ELABO celebrates a round anniversary. In 1972, i.e. 50 years ago, the company was founded in a garage in Kirchberg an der Jagst and has developed over the years into one of the leading providers of connected workplace systems, intelligent test systems and in the field of digital transformation.
