The Swedish company Elit Instrument AB offers industrial products and services to customers in the fields of temperature and pressure measurement, electrical testing and fastening. Elit also distributes the ELABO solutions in Sweden.
The company was founded in 1945 by Gunnar Samuelsson. Over the years, the company grew and was able to convince several large customers and partners of its excellence at an early stage. Elit has now been ELABO GmbH's export partner for thirty years.
The joint cooperation began in 1990 and soon major customers were acquired and joint successes were achieved. Joint customer visits and tours through Sweden with the ELABO sample bus followed.
In 2005, Elit acquired ELLEM Pneumatik AB (an agency for Idex Band-IT), one of two companies supplying band-IT to the Swedish market. This resulted in the new product line "fastening solutions". In 2013 Elit took over "Bandsystem", the second supplier of Band-IT in Sweden. Since then, Elit covers 100% of the Swedish market with Band-IT.
Another success was the certification according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in 2015.
In 2018, the product line "electrical safety testers" was added to the portfolio with the purchase of CLC-System. From then on, services such as calibration and repair were included to the service portfolio and successfully expanded in the following years.
In its anniversary year 2020, Elit made a number of investments to expand its service portfolio even more comprehensively. Furthermore the Elit Expobus was purchased, following the ELABO example, which now enables the presentation of new products to customers on site in the form of a road show.
