From July at Elabo: Added value at no additional charge
All DC power packs with blue digital displays ordered from July from Elabo let you select the preset function by switch.
When the output is switched off, the preset function is used to preselect the voltage and current limiting via the standard 10-way potentiometer and to connect it subsequently to the output.
The facility for preselecting the current limitation avoids expensive damage due to unexpected high currents when operating test circuits.
All DC power packs supplied from 2003 featuring a 4-digit, blue digital display can be upgraded inexpensively with this function. The retrofit price includes a complete re-calibration of the power pack.
