Elabo thinks Europe-wide

Taking part in European vocational training program LEONARDO DA VINCI

The European vocational training program LEONARDO DA VINCI was long considered "Innovation lab," from which practice-oriented products and solutions to different problems originated. Also the fact that instructor and apprentice thought and began working in the context of European educational cooperation, functioned as a kind of soft factor to the success story of the program. Another goal of the project is to offer a diversified vocational training experience in Europe.

The program for lifelong learning is comprised of lifelong courses of education from school, through high school and job training to continuing education.

Among other things, LEONARDO DA VINCI promotes the mobility of apprentices and training personnel and the development of innovative approaches in job training.

Since Elabo has always been future-oriented, partaking in this project goes without saying. As such 12 young people from Hungary are getting the opportunity to learn at Elabo, not only about work procedures but also about Germany's culture, its land and its people. The mobility project is oriented to promote understanding of the mentality and culture of the host country. For two weeks at a time apprentices find themselves in the company, additionally supported by an interpreter.

The work program at Elabo was carefully prepared and tailored for the participants. As the appropriate facilities and the corresponding material are at hand, the apprentices, under expert supervision, will be entrusted work and responsibilities that correspond to their knowledge, ability, competencies as well as their apprenticeship goals.

Together with two teachers and the interpreter, the apprentices have enough time left over to see the land and its people.
