ELABO completely equips new training building in South Germany

The contract award by a renowned German automotive manufacturer was preceded by a comparison of performance and competition.

ELABO came out ahead and received the large order valued at over 400,000 euros.

The carmaker's new training building was completely equipped with ELABO's InForm range of technical laboratory furnishings. The range's high degree of functionality and quality, coupled with excellent value for money, quickly convinced DaimlerChrysler of its merits. Within a relatively short space of around six weeks, the furnishings for 25 specialist rooms in various training fields such as metalworking, car mechanics and PC technology had to produced and installed. Although this represented a special challenge to the specialists at ELABO, it was all completed within the specified timeframe. Over 220 tables in a wide variety of designs, some 150 tables and table superstructures, 50 rolling containers, cable subdistributors, cable trolleys and specialist room furnishings were installed by the company's own assembly team. The PC workstation tables were equipped with a special laptop securing device as protection against theft. The tables can be assembled at any time according to requirements. All locking systems for cabinets, rolling containers and table drawers are electronic thus making it possible to create personal training places that are secured and produced according to the curriculum content and requirements.
