New device line from ELABO
Integration of electrical safety test devices in commercially available control cabinet solutions.
By launching a new device line entitled "I", the Crailsheim-based company ELABO is closing a gap in the field of electrical safety standards. "I" stands for Integrated Test Module. What is behind the product is simple and cost-efficient integration of safety test devices.
CRAILSHEIM. In the past, it was difficult to integrate electrical safety test devices into a commercially available control cabinet. ELABO's development addresses this situation and will be presenting a new device line at the Hanover trade fair.
The benefits of this new device line are outlined by the manager of the TestSystems division, Volker Grobshäußer: "Firstly, direct attachment to the mounting plate is no longer a problem, thanks to what is known as the 'easy fix system'. Secondly, there is a direct wire connection between the device and the switching matrix without additional plug-in connections." What is more, in the event of a problem arising, it is possible to establish sources of errors faster. To simplify operation, ELABO has focused on the essential functions in its development work.
Thanks to the detachable housing sections, any servicing and maintenance work can be performed without having to remove the modules. Since the modules disappear inside the control cabinet after commissioning and are operated via the system control, it was possible to dispense with the otherwise usual measured value displays. The modules are controlled via digital and analog signals.
