Safety testing fridges before marketing

Household appliances are thoroughly safety-tested by manufacturers in accordance with EN60335-1 at the end of the assembly line. This is the only way to guarantee that all the products that reach the store are safe to use.

Recently, Elabo supplied four new test systems to one of Germany's best known manufacturers of fridges and freezers. This particular manufacturer has relied for decades on the Elabo brand of testing technology from Crailsheim. The newly designed systems allow flexible production, regardless of the size of the production batch. The data accumulating during the tests are stored on an SQL server for archiving. The manufacturer can thus call up a test record at any time.
