Elabo uses colour as a training guide
These new Elabo devices boost safety because they are immediately recognizable. They are of great instructional value, because it is much easier to absorb subject matter that is visualized in colour. They are tailored to meet the demands of basic and advanced training given in industry, in vocational schools and in chambers of trade and crafts. All of them have been carefully chosen by Elabo for the 3HE/19" and 6HE/19" systems and are specifically designed for training purposes. Some of them are also newly developed types of equipment.
The highlight of this series is the coloured, abrasion-proof screen printing which ensures that safety notices never disappear and sources of danger are always identified. This was one of the innovations to our product line that was exhibited at the Hanover Trade Fair in April 2010. Another new feature is that the colours used are matched to the available teaching aids.
But what's inside must also be right. That is why Elabo has taken its palette of AC devices and expanded it or adapted it to meet new educational requirements. Now training instructors, teachers and lecturers will have the advantage of special power supplies with low AC voltages as standard equiment.
Another device of interest is the I/O module. When performing a measuring task, voltages can be measured at three different points using a single multimeter: in automated form, this task would be possible only if 3 multimeters were used. With the help of the I/O module the 3 measuring points can now be connected to the multimeter one after the other and the measurements can be automatically recorded.
The response that we have received to our "beta-test units" shows that Elabo is right on target with these devices. For example, one e.on site has equipped four training stations with 6HE/19" devices. Not only the workshop management but also the trainees themselves were surprised at how well the series functions.
