A second room – at the push of a button
School year after school year, headmasters, subject teachers and administrative staff think about the optimal room configuration. Elabo has got it, and will be displaying it in the new education catalogue - and at the Hanover trade fair.
Since 1998 practice rooms can be transformed into rooms for theory lessons at the push of a button. German classes and electrical engineering in the same room? Not a problem! The lowering technology made by Elabo is enjoying increasing popularity at educational institutions. On the one hand, this makes spatial planning with variable pupil numbers, ongoing reorganisation or other factors easier. On the other hand, it allows for greater safety.
Surrounded by a stable wooden cabinet, the equipment is protected against dirt or vandalism in a lowered state. This way the equipment is also inaccessible to pupils who are learning other subjects and are not aware of the equipment's dangers. At the same time, security mechanisms make sure that people are not injured, nor the equipment damaged when it is being raised or lowered - for example, by an automatic stop upon resistance.
However, the lowering technology is only one highlight from the current Elabo programme. The Crailsheim-based company is also offering adapted educational solutions to an industrial standard in the areas of hardware checks, data logging and data storage as well as networking technology.
Elabo is presenting a trapeze table with lowering technology at the Hanover trade fair which is particularly suitable for small-area applications. Further solutions and the range of products can be seen in the catalogue at http://www.elabo-educationsystems.com/.
