TaMo as 19" laboratory rack
The TaMo mobile equipment rack system from Elabo can now also be configured as a movable 19" laboratory rack.
Based on the TaMo M-Frame 'back' with a clear width of 520 mm, it is possible to mount 19" grid profiles on the two vertical function carriers on the side. Cage nuts can be clipped into these grid profiles on the front panels or, in conjunction with 19" guide rails, it is possible to attach complete 19" subracks or plug-in units.
Depending on the height of the vertical function carriers, the following useful heights are possible:
Function carrier height Useful height
H = 1960 mm H = 38 HE (1689 mm)
H = 1600 mm H = 29 HE (1289 mm)
H = 1100 mm H = 18 HE (800 mm)
H = 750 mm H = 10 HE (445 mm)
When using 300 mm wide, vertical function carriers (see photo), it is possible to integrate (behind fold-back covers) socket terminals for the mains supply of the devices installed in the laboratory rack. In this case, the power cords are routed through brush cleats into the inside of the function carrier. The Elabo TaMo laboratory rack is designed for a total load of 250 kg.
