Large visitor numbers at MOTEK in Sinsheim.

The leading trade show in assembly and handling technology, the 22nd MOTEK, ended after in Sinsheim on Friday, 26th September, following four days in which almost 800 exhibitors spread out over 40,000m² exhibition space in six booked-out halls presented the latest and trends in industrial handling.

Horst Maywald expressed great satisfaction at both the quantity and the quality of specialist visitors to the ELABO booth. "Compared to last year, we saw a seven-per-cent higher visitor frequency. The number of concrete inquiries was particularly encouraging."

Under the slogan "Non-stop assembly and testing", ELABO presented an assembly line for electronic devices with integrated device security testing based on standard modules in the TaMas system and components from the ELABO Test Systems business area.

Presentation of the modular device testing range was made particularly effective by integrating the necessary safety checks according to EN and VDE norms in production. The fully developed, comfortable and extensive testing software, which helps in the quick and simple creation and execution of complex testing sequences, was also the subject of great interest.

The newly developed TaMo range of mobile component mounting systems went down well with visitors. TaMo was presented as a supply and transport trolley for European standard receptacles, as a mobile carrier for cable rolls and prehensile pans, and as a mobile testing unit featuring the new SHV 50 high-voltage test device.

Another exhibit in visitors' sights at the ELABO booth was the electro-hydraulic, height-adjustable assembly workstation, the TaMas Lift. Areas of use for this system are production workstations in multi-shift operation and assembly work on items of varying size, since the workspace can be quickly and comfortably adjusted to a height that makes ergonomic sense.
